Deerfield Capital Corp. (“DFR”) is a publicly-traded, NASDAQ-listed company (NASDAQ: DFR), that provides fixed-income investment management services to global investors (DFR, collectively with its subsidiaries, is hereinafter referred to as “Deerfield,” “we” or “us”). Our investment management activities are conducted through Deerfield Capital Management LLC (“DCM”), a fixed-income investment adviser that has managed institutional accounts since 1993 and has $8.8 billion AUM as of 04/01/2010 .

From DFR’s inception in December 2004 through December 2007, DFR was externally managed by DCM. In December 2007, DFR acquired DCM in a merger transaction resulting in DCM becoming DFR’s indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary.

We are based in Rosemont, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, and have approximately 65 employees. Approximately one third are investment professionals. DCM is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as an investment adviser and with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission as a commodity trading advisor.
